Our Irish Red Ale comes with a notable dash of roasted barley — used for centuries in Ireland’s Porters and Stouts — giving the beer its reddish hue and a dry roasted finish. This malt showcase has a very low hop influence in aroma, flavor and bitterness, which leaves the malty-sweet caramel and toffee notes to shine, often along with some toasty character.

On tap at a British restaurant-pub down in Fort Lauderdale (forget the name). A decently malted Irish Ale. Has some strength to it too. Semi-creamy texture with a darker cloudy mahogany appearance. Nice amount of malts and same for hops. Well balanced. I would like to try this again, especially in season or around St. Patty’s Day or something.
