A traditional Scottish ale, this darker beer focuses on malt color and flavor with hops being almost imperceptible. This ale, aged with American Red Oak, finishes crisp and a wee bit sweet.

Rusty in color but not very strong (less than 5% ipa is my guess. german yeastiness and rusty nail flavor. Inexpensive and good to pass off to aquaintances.

Poured out of the can into ma glass. Clear amber, lots of carbonation, decent sized white head. Aroma is kinda dull. Some soft subtle sweetness, otherwise average scottish ale. Great canned session brew. but tastes around average.
