PINT tasting. Black, clear, small foam ring. Strong coffee aroma. Coffee and chocolate intaste, strong bitter. Wood tones in aftertaste. Top beer of the evening. (Arnhem 201509)

330 ml shared bottle from the brewery, ABV 10.1%. Pitch black colour, tan head. Roasty aroma, notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Roasty flavour, dark bitter chocolate and coffee again, maybe not very complex, but good enough for me. Salty finish.

Bottled. Quite much pitch black deep brown colour, not much head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, toffee and mild earthy and wooden notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some toffee, liquorice and earth.
