Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy ivory head. Aroma provides banana, toasted malt and not-so-subtle hops, with a touch of butterscotch. Flavor gives more roasty than toasty malt, banana, butterscotch, subtle bourbon tones. A Belgian masquerading as a stout, or a stout masquerading as a Belgian? Texture yields lively fizz, good body, and a sweet Belgiany finish. Winter is Golden.
