I found this a bit on the ghastly side. Aroma is sickly and sweet. The flavour is a bit overpoweringly malty. On the plus side it does look well in a glass.

Pours a brown color. Smell is a bit malty. Taste is malts, some nuts, a touch of hops, as advertised, very smooth. Feels creamy in the mouth and is a good session beer.

Brownish color with thick lasting foam head, sticking to glass and lip. Nice to see how it settles. Weak aroma, but taste is good British bitter. Long aftertaste on tip of tongue. (Barnsley 201208)

A muddy amber colored beer. Despite the nitogen capsule insude, the frothy white head is not as large as you'd expect. About one finger. Has hang time though, settling into a thick ringlet. The nose is earthy. Nice smooth creaminess. A slight bitter maltiness that kicks in some sweet bradiness in the end.

I tried this at the Golden Lion Pub eastbound in the mid Atlantic aboard the RMS Queen Mary 2. Poured amber with a large head and good amount of lacing. The mouth feel reminded me a lot of Guinness. Kind of thick with very little carbonation. It pairs well with some good English Cheddar.

Sampled at the Rose in London. I rated this beer highly because I like nitrogenated beers. Appearance is great, but I expected it to be a darker amber. The taste is pretty good and the mouthfeel is full. Finish is a little bitter. Very smooth.

Poured in a Jersey pub a deep amber colored ale with reddish tones with a small white creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. The aroma is slight malty. The flavour is quite the same, slight malty, notes of mint and caramel. The palate is watery. The finish of this light to medium bodied ale is a slight creamy texture. No marks of bitterness.

I don't get these beers. This reminded me of Tetley's which is a lifeless, watery grave of a beer and this is no different. I had the nitro-widget can, so the appearance was the best thing about the beer. Aroma was....was....was. Hell, there was no aroma. Appearance was copper in color, great looking head. Watery in the mouth, nearly zero flavor. What I could pick up was a slight malty flavor. I got zero bitterness out of this "bitter". Perhaps my palate is ruined for all eternity with the hoppy creations on the West Coast. This beer just didn't do it for me.

Sampled in London this summer. Went down very smooth and had a great pour and took a long time to settle. Aroma was nice but dark appearance was key. Flavor was nice with hints of heated spices. Very nice beer.

A very mediocre bitter that is avliable all over GB, even in the New Globe theatre!!!! Very smooth and a decent amber apperance, but not alot of flavour. Decent beer if there are no other bitters around
