My first venture into ciders. I hope there's something better out there because this may be my last. Dermented apples. Dry, extreme carbonation and sweet. Was I drinking sode fermented?

There are ciders for sipping by the firepot on a crisp fall night, and then there are ciders that are light and refreshing, more appropos to a summer day. Kelly's is a thirst quencher, plain and simple. Approach it as such, and you'll not be disappointed. Pours the color of ginger ale with no head, despite ample effervescence. Thin bodied and light in aroma, texture, and flavor. Neither sweet nor tart, Kelly's is fresh, dry, and crisp, with a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Slammable.

This is my first cider so I do not have a standard to work from with this rating. Aroma was very sour apple with a hint of champaign. Poured much like a soda, very fizzy and ginger ale in color. Very active mouthfeel bubbly and a dry finish. The flavor was very sweet and dry, very similar to an Asti Spumanti champaign. I don't think I am a cider person.
