The name of this beer is the marriage of 2 companies names: Brewery Jessenhofke and seitan producer Maya. This beer is a unique beer as this is the first beer in the world that is following the "cradle to cradle" C2C principe. Certification is still going on, because the procedure is not made for food and it takes more time than we expected. The general principe of "C2C" philosophy is that all used materials after the life in one product can be used usefully in another product. Michel Corthouts, seitan maker from Hasselt, convinced Gerd to start with the wheat rest product. This seitan water partly replaces the brewing water. We use 26% less barley malt and 5.5% less wheat malt to make this variant of the Jessenhofke Triple. A unique experiment, with a surprising result, a blond party beer of 6.0% Alc. Vol. This beer is only available in bottles of 33 cl.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 4

330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Jessenhofke glass an unfiltered slight hazy amber-orange coloured ale with a generous one finger slight beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate malts, yeast, sourish fruits, apples, citrus and spicy, notes of pepper. The flavour is wheat malts, yeast, spicy, coriander, a touch of pepper and ended with a real sourness. The mouthfeel is crispy, sparkling and like an unpleasant medicine. This medium bodied ale has a long spicy and bitter finish. Not the expected B.A. , but a new sensation on the palate, the "unpleasant " medicine !
