500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a tulip pint a light hazy mid-brown coloured Bitter with a generous two fingers slight beige dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is moderate malty, fruity, red berries, faint floral hops and notes of spices. The flavour is fruity, berries, grainy pears, caramel malts, toffee and floral hops. The mouthfeel is slight crispy, sparkling, creamy and smooth. This light to medium bodied Ale has a slight dry bitter finish. A pleasant Bitter bringing a lot of freshness.

Nice golden color with not so big white top that dissapears quit fast. Aroma is a bit earthlike and hoppy, taste is a bit too hoppy and edgy aftertaste leaves only bitterish mouthfeel. So the start is nice, but end is not...

500 ml green bottle, as Jennings Cumberland Ale, from MENY Stadionparken, Stavanger. ABV is 4,7%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of "dusty" hops, hints of toffee. Fairly refreshing flavour, dry hops on a background of subtle malts and a hint of fruit. Bitter aftertaste with some unpleasant metallic notes. Cask half pint, at The Lamplighter, St. Helier. Copper colour, white head. Moderate aroma. Malty flavour, with sharpish and slightly metallic hops in the finish.

Copperish golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head, lacing. Aroma while pouring was very much cooked vegetables. When settled in the beerglass it’s woody, honeyish, sweet fruity with some notes of cooked vegetables underneath. Flavour is sweet malts with spices and hops coming in. Quite watery and empty.

Bottle. Light golden coloured with a nice sized white head (1.5cm). Hoppy aroma with some citrus. Nicely hoppy, medium bodied, very drinkable. One of the better bottled bitters.
