Only found in a 2-4 at The Beer Store. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a frothy cap, decent retention and foamy lace. Sweet malty nose with cereal grain notes and hints of honey. The taste is malty, but not as sweet as what the nose gives out to be. Refreshing, mild cereal flavours with very light hops. An easy-drinking ale overall. Easy on the wallet for a decent swill.

I'm not a fan of any of the James Ready line. Having tried them all in the past week, the beers taste as cheap as their price. The beer looks nice but the weak aromas are replete with skunkiness and the flavours are acidic and metallic.

Y'know for swill this ain't half bad. Easily best brew in the James Ready line. A darkish copper colour, which I found very surprising, gave way to a quasi toffeish British style ale. For swill lovers, I highly recommend.
