A dark and robust stout using a traditional mole recipe with seven different nuts and seeds, cinnamon, cocoa powder and an infusion of dried chiles. Deeply complex with a wonderful dark malt character yet finishes clean with just a trace of heat. Earthy aromas of chile, cinnamon and cocoa with a tangy aftertaste. This beer is a terrific complement to any Mexican food and also very satisfying to just enjoy on its own. Malts: GW Pale, Brown, Chocolate, 40L Crystal, Roast Barley, Black Hops: Fuggles, Goldings Yeast: English Ale Adjuncts: spices, nuts, seeds, chiles Batch #: 119 & 120 ABV: 6.25% IBU: 42 SRM: 80

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a nice deep dark body that supports a thin mocha colored head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, chocolate and some mild spiciness. The taste delivers a nice blend of dark roasted malts, chocolate, some earthy spicy notes and then earthy chili pepper that slides into a mild heat sensation. This is solid. The dark roasted malts, chocolate and mild chili heat linger into the after taste. Fun beer.
