The number one obstacle for blondes wishing to go rouge is figuring out which side they’re currently on. I suppose our Renegade Blonde is no exception. It’s an ale. Believe me I checked… But when it’s young, it has a crisp, malty flavor with a refreshingly bitter finish, not unlike a lager. With age, it develops a mild, fruity character, like an ale.

    750ml bottle -

Aroma - pale grains, honey, lightly floral

Appearance - light hazy golden body, huge 4-finger creamy head, superior head retention, excellent lacing

Mouthfeel - medium body, light/medium carbonation, lively mouthfeel

Flavor - light bready malts, crisp flavor, refreshingly clean

Overall - the beer is worth it's sticker price to see it in your glass alone. It's a refreshing beer, crisp and clean and totally sessionable. Dig it.

an ok kolsch beer - nothin out of the ordinary for the style, which given some of IF brews. maybe that's a good thing. Clean and crisp if nothing spectacular.
