This beer is brewed for thirsty people by thirsty people. Created during the dog days of summer in 2004, the popularity of this ale was so overwhelming that we decided to make it a permanent member of the Hyland’s product line rather than a seasonal brew. Farmhand Ale is a pale to golden colored, light bodied and crisp extra pale ale. It is brewed with European pilsner type malt to provide the light color and just enough body, and finish it with cascade hops for a crisp yet not bitter, refreshing beer experience. Alcohol: 4.0% by volume.

Pours an extremely clear gold with a large, lasting white head. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy. It actually smells like it was dry hopped. Good, firm straw malt with more of that surprising bitterness. Better than expected.
