You asked and we listened. We’re showing our melons! The backbone of this brew is heavy on the wheat with just a touch of Vienna malt for complexity. We add real watermelon to our tanks during fermentation, leaving a fruity essence on the back end. German hops balance the fruit perfectly in this wheat ale for a slightly dry, extremely refreshing finish.

Pours a clear, slightly rosy amber with an average head that says hello and then makes its exit. Aroma is weak, but has wheat and watermelon tones that at least get your attention. Flavor has watermelon and hoppy tones, just a little wheat. Texture is average thickness and lacks fizz. Still, a great beer to take the edge off your thirst on a steamy day.

The hopped up price comes from the Texas Renaissance Festival. Pours a yellow/ peach hued body with a fizzy white froth that leaves quickly. Aroma of sweet grains and a hint of watermelon, or at least fruit. In the taste, grainy and lightly malty upfront gives way to a definite watermelon note that follows to the finish. The watermelon flavor reminds me of slightly unripe melon. Light to medium bodied, well carbonated yet watery feel. Overall a nice beer that wasnt over or under done.
