Poured a nice amber caramel color with just a bit of cloudinesswith small frothy head and a fair amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma has a nice hoppy smell with a faint trace of citrus as well. The taste is just awful, lot of nutmeg and other spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and it leaves a decent tingle on the tongue with its carbonation.

ok, i see that this got some decent reviews, and i can honestly say i don't know what any of you are thinking. Dec 07 i had a holiday beer taste-off with over 2 dozen beers (about 20 people)...nobody liked this beer (what the hell is in there anyway)...and i think 19 of the 20 said we should dump it, so we did. needless to say it finished in a very distant last place. no redeeming qualities. maybe we got a bad one, but it didn't taste spoiled... 2010-better than b4, still notworth buying.

OOOh a very very nice winter brew. Very full of spices and full body. Appearance is very nice and brown with a cloudy texture. Has a thin lacey head. Mouthfeel is smooth with a little aftertaste but not bad.

This spiced ale pours a light amber color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and sweet. A medium bodied spiced ale. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are grapefruit and floral. Kind of sweet, lots of holiday spices, but not overly obnoxious about them. Very drinkable X-Mas beer. There is lots of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg other stuff here. Sort of works for me, but I can see this one being a love or hate it beer.. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
