Pale yellow with white foam head. Aroma is slightly bitter hops. Taste is bitter, but some caramel is present. Short bitter aftertaste. (Bad Oldesloe 201207)

Canned. Pale yellowish golden colour, mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is grains, bready malts, some starchlike sweetness as well as a mild metallic note as well. Flavour is quite alike, and also has some cooked vegetables in it. Cheap and bulky.

Holsten Pilsener is a very nice beer from Hamburg in Germany. The color is light golden. It taste very fresh, and it smells excellent. This beer is one of my favorite beers. Holsten Pilsener is suited for all appearences.

Rerate, on tap in Hamburg. This is a fairly average standard pilsener, but the hoppy bitterness in the finish was actually greater than I remembered it from the bottles I’ve sampled earlier. Drinkable.
