Hazy reddish orange colour, small bubbly foam. No visible carbonation. Big malty and fairly dry aroma of figs, dried apricots, coconuts, rum and tart cherries. Full-bodied and medium-sweet flavour of figs, nuts, coconuts, wood raisins and alcohol. Hot finish of orange-peels, almonds, pepper and alcohol. A classy English Strong.

Bottle conditioned. Hazy deep amber colour with a slim off-white head. Aroma has malt, raisins, brown sugar and a touch of alcohol. Flavours are sweet malt, caramel, some dark fruit and a nice bitter finish. Full bodied, slightly carbonated, with some late warming alcohol. A very good English Strong Ale.
