Dopple is German for double. This double strength bock beer was originally made and consumed by monks to sustain them for the 40 days of fasting during lent. This dark brown lager is full-bodied and very rich. It has a long lasting malty-sweet flavor, backed by a hint of hops. Aged for over two months, and weighing in at just over 8% alc. You won’t know how good it is until you try to stand up.
