We brew Hinterland Lunatic to draw out that instinctual yearning to go against the grain, to take a chance, and to experience something totally whacked. Lunatic defines what getting crazy in the brewhouse is all about. This beer blends together copius amounts of Flaked Oats, 2 row, Vienna, Chocolate and Roasted Barley malts along with Columbus hops in order to create the ultimate Imperial Stout.

A dark black colored beer with a frothy textured light brown head rising above. There’s great hang time on the head and an impressive lacing left. The nose is smokey, roasty and cocoa like. Rather smooth with balanced roasts, timid hops, and dark chocolate bitterness. It has a sweet finish with a smooth taste. Medium bodied, rather stick.
