Pours clear, slightly purplish mahogany with a purple-tinged buff head that says hello and then goes on its merry way. Aroma yields tart berry - resembles raspberry, but maybe that's the boysenberry. Definitely some blackberry and blueberry in there, too. Flavor provides blackberry, blueberry, and must be boysenberry though my taste buds insist on saying raspberry. Just a bit of malt appears, and a whisper of hops, reminding the drinker that this is still beer. Texture features so-so body and fizz. Different, distinctive, and berry enjoyable.
