This imperial stout pours a dark black color from a large 750ml bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee, a touch salty. A full bodied Imperial Stout. Malts are chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Touch of soy. Touch of brine or salt. Nice balance. Perhaps a touch thin and a little light in the Imperial stout character. But that could be due to the close proximity of tasting this beer one beer after Cask Barrel Aged Speedway Stout. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

the b in boris must stand for something better than that, ill have to knock it down a peg or two now. Very thick black color. very mild coffee tones. flavor is really deep and starts like really bitter chocolates that surrender to smooth mild coffee.

Pours with a black body topped by a medium thick head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a slight licorice note and a touch of roasted coffee. The flavor is sweet and malty with a great roasty chocolate note and a touch of coffee. Full bodied and smooth.

A pitch black appearance with a tan head. This one was very sweet with some chocolate covered cherry flavors. Some milk chocolate and raisins are present also. It had a slightly sour aftertaste.

On Tap at NJ beer festival. Dark in color with a nice fluffy white head. Cloudy. Sweet tasting. Malty and roasty flavor and aroma. Enjoyable beer. Creamy and smooth. Well balanced. Full bodied.

Draft at Monks... Pours opaque black with a small tan head, no real lacing. Roasted aroma of chocolate, and "smooth cream", as my notes say. Taste of dark fruits, mildly vinous, sour cherry up front, then turning into a sweet roasted and chocolate finish. Alcohol was very well hidden here.
