I feel bad not liking these 100 Barrel Series beers, because I really want Harpoon to continue experimenting like this. But what can I say, this is just an average witbier. It pours a hazy orange color, with a generous white head. Aroma is very wheaty, with slight hints of coriander and other spices. Flavor is very wheaty, with a little yeast and coriander spice to it. This simply doesn't have enough spice and yeast flavor to be considered a great Witbier, but it's a good attempt. This is more like an American wheat, with a little citric spice to it. Kudos to Harpoon for letting the brewers experiment though.
