Sampled... and continued to sample... does a 5oz. sampler, a pint and a 64oz. pitcher constitute "many times"? Gotta be more than a couple anyway. Sampled in Tacoma on 12-29-09. It was proclaimed a house favorite. It did not dissappoint. Went well on a cold wet night with fish-n-chips - reminded me of London. It was drawn with a really nice medium head and produced truly astounding lacing. A very balanced beer that is medium bodied, with a very desirable hops to malts ratio. Close-to-stellar status. Worthy.

22oz bottle. Medium orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruity, herbal, earthy and fruity. A medium bodied ESB/bitter. Malts are bready, fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and herbal. Mild flavored ESB. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Kind of earthy and tropical. A little high in alcohol for a session beer, but it could work as one. I like the earthy herbal flavors from the fuggels in this beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
