The original whisky (Inchgower) was distilled in 1982 and has permeated the oak cask for 28 years. We replaced the whisky with our own stout leaving the cask sealed and undisturbed for several months, enabling the Æther spirit to infiltrate the Blæc magic, contributing to the complex flavours of this well rounded beer.

Shared bottle at local tasting, thanks to gunnar. " A stout beer aged in a 28 year old Speyside cask." ABV is 7.7%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. Roasty and vinous aroma, hints of brettanomyces, moderate notes of Scotch whisky and leather. The flavour is roasty and oaky, hints of brettanomyces with a slight acidity in the finish.
