Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops, grass, hay and malts. Same in flavour. A good bitterness level on this one, and quite wellbalanced compared to many other Norwegian lagers...

Rerate: Quite successful pale lager. Some wheat malts are used in addition to the barley, giving the beer just a little of the dry freshness you find in a wheat beer. Too weak on the hops though.

500ml red can, best before date stamped on bottom, brought back from a friend's trip to Norway. Pours a golden color with large and quite stable head. Foam did fade away towards the bottom of the glass. Holding it up to the light there is some fine sediment floating around - but not enough to make the liquid hazy. Not alot of smell, some graininess, but I didn't find the typical "euro-skunk". Smooth taste, clean lager flavor, no aftertaste or excessive alcohol burn. Good carbonation made it thirst quenching - a nice summer beer. Thanks to Carson for bringing this back.
