Half Pints Pro/Am brew competition winner. Craft brewed by Dean Kelly and bottled by Half Pints Brewing Company. Commercial Description: A brewing experiment with soft, springtime spruce tips and the resiny pine punch of the Simcoe hop turned out to be a true winner! This backyard brew competed against the best beers that professional and amateur brewers could offer up at the 2013 Half Pints Pro/Am Brew Challenge and came out as the Best of Show. Brewed with assertive hoppiness in the style of an American Pale Ale, this beer also features a solid malt backbone of Canadian and British barleys and, of course, the uniquely refreshing flavour of young spruce tips. Give it a try and spruce up your palate!
