Produced with German pilsen malt, crystal malt and German wheat malt, this Bavarian style Hefeweizen is fermented with a traditional German weizen yeast, producing moderate clove and banana notes. Light in color, this beer is finished with bitter orange peel and coriander for a balanced finish.

Cloudy light yellow/gold color with a small, but quickly disappearing head. Coriander, clove and a strong yeast presence lead the aromas. Also detect some citrus. Taste is similar to the smell. Coriander, citrus, clove and yeasty flavors. Drying, slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium mouthfeel with an almost perfect amount of carbonation. Not my usual choice of beers, but sometimes I need to step out of my comfort zone (aka, IPA's, Stouts). Another nice beer from the new guys in town. Worth a try.
