This hoppy American style wheat beer is brewed with 50% malted German wheat and 50% pale malted barley. Amarillo hops are used exclusively in the kettle and a generous dry hop of Amarillo and Simcoe are used to add a citrus, orange and pine aroma. This beer finishes clean with a wheat malt flavor.

Pours a clear pale amber golden color with a small white head. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, lightly toasted wheat, sweet malt and hint of pine. Wheat leads the flavor parade with grapefruit and fresh cut flowers. Clean, crisp finish. Nicely carbonated. The taste was a bit of a disappointment after the impressive nose, but still a good beer. Might need some of these when it gets warm. Another good effort from Hailstorm Brewing.
