Clear dark ruby with short present light brown foam head. Aroma is sweet caramel, so is taste with little bitterness. Sweet aftertaste. (Velp 201212)

Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumsized foamy beigeish head. Aroma is lots of spices and caramel malts. Flavour is sweet caramel along with spices and herbs. A pleasantly balanced brew.

A deep red beer with a low tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of berries, and lesser notes of malt, metal, alcohol, fruit - especially apples, and some spices - I pick up cloves. The flavor is quite sweet, but with a good body to back it up, and a very complex mixture of spices (cloves, cinnamon, and coriander), malt, caramel, alcohol, and some fruit. The end is very smooth with notes of spices and caramel lingering around. The alcohol bites slightly in the tongue.

A nice deep rose red colour..some OK head, sticks around...fresh prune + sweet sugarary jagermeister smell....even has a slight spice similiar to jager in the breathe..what a quality delicous "winter friend" beer.
