In what seemed to be an endless selection of amazing beer, this one was no exception. Dark, well carbonated copper. Nose is bready, taste is bready. Black cherry, currents and some woody flavors. An interesting semi bitter finish that teases the palate. Very filling beer.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Gruut designed glass an unfiltered hazy deep mahogany or ruby-brown coloured ale with a generous one finger tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Mid-sized carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, yeast, spicy, licorice, molasses and fruity with dark ripe raisins. The flavour is roasted and caramel malts, molasses, licorice. The mouthfeel is crispy, heavy and sweety. This medium to full bodied ale has a dry spicy and malty finish. An easy drinkable Bruin
