Another tasty beer also on tap at Gruut. I was really impressed with this one. As an American craft beer drinker, I'm thinking of a malty, corn flavored, blonde like back at home. But this was way opposite of that. Clear, bubbly, beautiful. Perfect white head. Aroma is herbal- i want to say hoppy, but these beers are sans hops- possibly thyme, can't really tell. Strong flavors, crisp, refreshing.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Gruut designed glass an unfiltered hazy amber-orange coloured ale with a generous one finger slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate grainy malts, yeast and grassy hops. The flavour is sweet grainy malts, yeast, juicy fruits, orange, citrus and moderate hoppy. The mouthfeel is smooth. This light to medium bodied ale has a dry slight bitter finish. A nice and pleasant Begian Ale.
