The Dry Irish Stout is a hearty beer, yet the lowest in strength we have on tap, a perfect snow shoveling beer. The nose is strong with roasted malts and dark chocolate, the flavor of this beer resembles toasted coffee and is smooth on the palate finishing clean and dry.

Black, black, black. Thin, persistent brown head. Roasted malt aroma - firm, solid, quite perfect actually. Mouthfeel is thin but crisp; not smooth in the slightest. Flavors of well-roasted malt, faint chocolate; lightly bitter; sharp and slightly sour. A fairly good version of the style; the lack of smoothness keeps it from being great.
