Great Western Light, a new take on an old classic. Crisp, smooth and always refreshing. GW Light drinks easy and packs all the flavour you'd expect from a regular beer. It's extra-aged and always fresh, possesses great Prairie taste and is only made locally from the finest 100% Saskatchewan-malted barley.

For a light beer, this one's pretty good. I recommend that you drink it ice cold, though. Had it a couple times, when I went through one of my several "I'm gonna switch to light beer from now on" phases.

light beers take a beating from critics young and old... for me unless I go out of my way to find a import if I stop by a local vendor I would be picking up a light beer due to a am a terrible calorie counter... this beer is a premium light beer for a reason... the tastes very good! taking that with a grain of salt it is still a light beer but theres no comparison from something like this to a bud light... or for that case any light beer.

One of the best light beers I've drank. It's got aroma, flavour and feels good. 3.5 for a light beer? Well, yea, when compared to other lights. Dumped out of can on to carpet...carpet soaked up beer very well. Kidding. Standard Canadian lager aroma and colour/ cap. Tasty beer considering - not to sweet, a good ammount of barley, grass and the faintest hint of hops. Fairly smooth with a decent carb attack, light bodied and some dry wheatish finish. This doesn't seem like a light beer. Western puts out good brew that I'm finding myself drinking more and more.
