Our stout is a dry Irish style stout. It is a black ale that evolved from the English Porter and is characterized by the use of roasted barley. Some British dark crystal malt is added to lend some additional complexity. The coffee aroma and flavor comes from the roasted barley. There is a chocolate aroma, but no chocolate malt used in this stout. It is somewhat bitter, with a low original gravity. The low carbonation, toasted flake barley and nitrogenation make it smooth, creamy and drinkable. It is our lowest alcohol beer.
