Much like its legendary predecessors, this Yeti is big, bold and dark. The addition of rolled oats softens Yeti’s notoriously roasty backbone and the small amount of raisins added in the brew kettle create a unique dark fruit character. Just as admired as those that came before it, Oatmeal Yeti Imperial Stout is a gentle beast.

Pours coffee brown with a thick and rather persistent tan head. Aroma features roast malt, oaty, coffee and chocolate notes plus hints of dark fruit and molasses. Flavor delivers all that the aroma promises, only with more dark fruit and chocolate but less molasses. Viscous mouthfeel offers firm body, lively fizz, and some cherry in the finish. Follow the Yeti!

Another incarnation of the Yeti, cant wait to try it..Pours a dark brownish black body with an off white head. The aroma is dark and roasty with notes of coffee, chocolate, and oats. In the taste, roasted malts, oatmeal are the most prevalent, with a little dark fruit, booze and a slight bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, and creamy, the beer drinks easily. Overall, this is another enjoyable version of a fine stout, worth a try.

This poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma contains some coffee, espresso, smoke, and licorice. The flavor is rather rich and bitter with a hint of oatmeal presence. A lot of chocolate going on here. Overall this is a great impy stout!

A jet blackness in color. Not much of a head. But a persistent brown soapy ringlet. Nice roasty nose. Nice milk chocolate, slightly bittered coffee. So very creamy and smooth. These is a home run.

I think this whole beer is right between a 4 and 5 for me. Smells and flavors of coffee and soy, intense roast, and a wonderful mouthfeel. Slow sipping Christmas by the fireplace beer.

Not sure where my score for this went... here we go again. had it super fresh, and with a few months on it. Toned down. Smoother than regular yeti, not as agressively hopped, with an extra layer of sweetness. Still tons of roast and chocolate, and still awesome.
