The best Abbey Dubbel I have ever drank, which enjoyed at the 2008 TAP NY craft beer festival. Dark brown full bodied ale with a white head. Flavors of raisins, candy, clove were apparent on the palate. There was a subtle aroma of brown sugar.

04.23.05 Tap at TAP NY. Cola brown pour with small, creamy head. Light aroma of banana and clove, a bit nutty. Flavor bursts with banana, honey, clove, canteloupe. Musky. Nice, but I wish it was more aromatic.
