The beer poured a solid black colour with a light tan coloured creamy head which laced extremely well down the glass. The aroma was milk chocolate, chili peppers, roasted malt, and coffee. The mouthfeel was full bodied, creamy, and with average carbonation. The flavour was roasted malt and chocolate up front, with the chilis creeping up and catching the back of the tongue. The finish was decently bitter.
