    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Bottle: Pours a deep burnished gold ale in the glass. Rocky white 2 finger cap. Aroma is mild but there is sufficient bready-biscuity cereal tones and a light fruitiness like apple or pear. Flavor is simple but satisfying - pale malts dominate the front. then a spicey-earthy Perle hop bite joins a demure apple pear fruit tone in balancing the malts. Finish is clean slightly dry and spritzy with a biscuit-herb end. I’m not sure how this beer was given the moniker of a "Kolsch" as it is clearly too divergent from that narrow style... but it is a well made and tasty cold conditioned golden ale with a German character to it via the Pearle hopping. Altogether a very pleasant easy drinking sessioning beer....they should sell tons of this on draft.
