We love stout. We knew we wanted ours to have all the “turned-up-to-eleven” flavours of a New World stout along with the smooth, creamy mouth-feel that only rolled oats can add. Expect an almost-smoky, bittersweet chocolate flavour from a variety of roasted malts, a subtle sweetness from crystal malt, a hint of aroma hops, and a smooth full body.

The beer pours a solid black colour with mahogany highlights, and a creamy medium brown head. The aroma is a negative with hints of grains, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and over carbonated. The strongest flavour notes were were coffee and roasted malt. Very one dimensional.

Pours a dark brown/black colour with a minimal amount of head. This dissipates quickly to a ring and leaves no lacing. Smell and taste are similar. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and smoke, all mild. Medium smooth body. Nowt flash but worth a try.
