A fine strong ale with traditional character. Full of malt flavours with hops combining to give a citrus aroma.

Beer number 2 from my Father’s day gift. Light copper very clear body complete with a very tall, long lasting, noisy white cap. Aroma has taken me completely by surprise I wasn’t expecting this much of a hop punch. Almost west coast hoppy but not, citrus, flowers, heavy leather, toast, mild sour, and some grass clippings. Nice hop in the mouth nothing to intense just a nice bitter. Heavy leather some bread, lemon, rose water. Now all I taste in the peanut butter cup I just ate. Sometime later………….Taste is very smooth and creamy, starting to hit some blueberry but I know that’s not correct. Good beer way better than I thought it would be.
