Boxed 500ml bottle from BCLDB Ironwood. Bottle #073304, in the usual nice Fullers box, and comes with the little insert noting the previous VIntage Ales. I look forward to each year's offering, and the 2011 was not disappointment; I think only the first ever I had of these was a problem child, but only bliss since then. Clear copper pour under a creamy beige head, with no lacing. Inviting aroma of alcohol, caramel, and dark fruit. Lovely taste mirrors the nose. Mouth not at buttery smooth as prior years but so what. Brown sugar sweetness (not a lot) to finish.

Clear copper yellow with small light brown foam head. Aroma is malty, taste is superbe. Nice bittersweet caramel with floral tones. Low bitter aftertaste, quite long lasting. Good beer. (Velp 201306)

Amber with hints of brown, a tall cream cap floats on top that lingers for the entire time. Malty with earthy hops, possible honey all show up in this mild but complex nose. Fresh plumb, hints of earthy spice, and a caramel finish. Smooth and creamy, goes down fast and easy. After second pour I get hints of banana in the finish. What the hell is up with "Adventure Time" this cartoon is fawked up but you can't turn away. Possible cherry, and wood. Some acidity but it works. Always a good brew I look forward to it every year. Your apartment smells like polygrip and cat pee.
