A classic English bitter with a beautiful balance of unaggresive hops and gentle malt. Characteristic slightly tea-like Fuller's aroma and lovely colour. Extremely drinkable. Incomparably better on draught, especially near the brewery, where it's a surprisingly lively, foaming ale.

On tap at The Swinging Door in San Mateo. Pours clear light gold with a small off-white head, light lacing. Toffee, mild malts, grainy and herbal. Surprised that I haven't rated this. Good

Perfect clear copper color with thin off white head. I love the bready-pale malt aroma of this beer. I really can’t smell any hop aroma. Tastes much as it smells with bready and fresh pale malts. There is also just a hint of hops hiding behind the malts. Nice beer.

Smells strong and a little volatile sweet. Like some ol’ malt liquor or beer with whiskey in it. Color is darker and browner than the ubiquitous pale yellow american beer quite brown but it is certainly very clear! Taste is strongish too, like clean and clear alcohol. Everything about this beer is clean, clear and crisp. It’s british, with a stiff upper lip. Even the malty alky bitter bite is clean and clear. What we have here is a beer that is creamy in carbonation and bold. Very difficult on the medicinal finish. A little too much for my girlie taste buds. Comes across like whiskey at times.

33cl bottle from ICA Storo. Pours golden to amber with an off-white head. Malty and lightly hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Medium sweet with malt and caramel flavour and a pleasant hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very nice bitter!

Draught: Poured a clear brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is fruity with grass and hops. The taste is very similiar and has a nice hop bite.

The pride of London I assume. It pours a clear mahogany colour with a tight creamy tan coloured cap. The aroma is light roast, light caramel, weak citrus, and yeast. The flavor is fresh bread and light caramel, and the finish is weakly bitter and citrusy.

Fullers has mastered the art of brewing traditional British style ales. London Pride is one such al. A caramel coloured beer wiuth rich notes of light fruit and citrus from traditional earthy hops. Everything comes together in the flavour with the sweet caramel notes up front and a bitter hop finish. You can’t go wrong with Fullers.

Pours a clear orange/amber with a one finger off white head that takes its time. Decent amount of carbonation. Aroma is very soapy and sweet. Taste is very bland and metallic. There is exactly one month before the BBD on the bottle but it tastes old and bland. Not bitter in the least. Not a good beer.

Pours very minimal head, leaves a thin ring. Has a rusty light amber colour. Fairly weak lacing. Not getting much from aromas, mainly floral hops and nutty malts. Flavours are roasted malts, barley, earthy hops. Notes of caramel, sweetness. Mild spices in the mix. Watery mouthfeel. Light bodied. Not too bad.
