Three dolla pints of this and Two Hearted at Wild Wing Cafe bout got my ass in a sling. This poured a dark amber color with a white head. The aroma contains a bit of the peat, alcohol, caramel, toffee. This one is big and malty with some caramel, toffee, and a bit of roastiness. There is a big of alcohol showing in the finish. Overall good beer!

Comes out of the tap a reddish, barely translucent dark chocolate brown with a decent wheat head. Aroma has roast malt, molasses and clove notes with a hint of horehound. Flavor has malty, earthy, caramel, cloves and horehound notes of varying strengths. Firm, heavy texture has plenty of fizz. Wee heavier, way more enjoyable.

Clear brown, surprisingly light, thin cap. Rich roast malt aroma, mostly toast with some bubble gum. Rich roasty flavor with some bitter yeast. Surprisingly dry finish for the style when cold-- needs warmth. Wet, not sticky or heavy. Would've guessed this a brown rather than a Scot.

Little to no aroma and no head. Slight lacing. Full bodied drink with a nice oak, vanilla and whiskey flavor. The taste is very close to bourbon without the alchohol burn.

Clear deep amber pour with an ample head and some nice lacing. Sweet, malty aromas with just a touch of earthiness. Nice malty taste with a slight sweetness. Very smooth brew.
