A slightly sweet and delicately balanced beer. A true Kolsch must be brewed in Cologne, Germany where it originated, this is our interpretation. - Light and Clean - Thirst quenching - 5.3ABV - Sweet finish

Comes out of the tap a clear golden, bit of a white head. Malty aroma has an overtone of pear. Crisp, malty flavor has a firm note of pear and a hoppy undertone. Texture has only average thickness but good fizz, and leaves behind a fairly persistent tingle. A gateway to what? Perhaps a good "gateway" beer to wean people off the industrial swill.

Knoxville Brewers' Jam 2008. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head and good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of wet wheat, some citrus, and hops. Taste is smooth with a slight lemongrass and maltiness followed with very slight hops. Refreshing.

A golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons and grass. The flavor contains a bit of sourness with some lemons and a bit of spices. A rather malty presence. Overall a pretty nice beer.
