    Sampled on-tap, in Freeport ME.

I wasn't too sure about this one, when I got a look at this. Next-to-no carbonation, with no foam to speak of. Ditto for the aroma. I mean, I'm used to the various yeast strains that are popular amongst various Mainer breweries (that tend to de-emphasize the nose, for whatever reason). But this was a different beer altogether. That is to say, literally nothing, as far as aroma goes. Disappointing, to say the least.

The flavor profile of this beer didn't win me over either, to be honest. Hints of caramel, malt, and perhaps some graininess in the backend, but overall, too sweet and flacid tasting to be very interesting.

A challenge to put down, IMO. Perhaps a older sample, but I dunno. All I know is that this surely did nothing for me. I'm hoping other brands from the Freeport Brewing Company are better than this, since this just did not cut it....
