Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Half a pint, on tap at the brewery. Poured an unfiltered and light hazy old copper-brown, with reddish tones coloured Irish Ale with a short half a finger light beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is moderate sweety malts, caramel, dark fruits, raspberries, raisins. The flavour is intense fruity, dark berries, raspberries, blackcurrant, raisins, caramel malts and hoppy bitter. The mouthfeel is round and very smooth. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied Irish Ale has a dry fruity and light bitter finish. A superb and flavourful Irish Ale, with only a 4.3 % ABV, brewed in Cork ( Corcaigh in gaelic ), the main city in the irish province of Munster. I like it.
