A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Wholely unimpressive - a thin, watery looking - almost clear, and not clear yellow, but "clear" draw with a weak thin head and an obnoxiously thin mouthfeel. Grainy, almosy skunky aroma. Flavor was lightly fruity with a crisp finsih.

average as far as american attempts at the kolsch style. nothing offensive and nothing to make it stand out at all. some grainy sweetness in the nose and flavor with a slightly bitter finish. light on the palate. not really memorable.

Draft w/ bockyhorsey and wife at 4P. Pour was golden with lots of carbonation bubbles rising, thin head, didn't stick around long, and the lacing was weak. The aroma was fruity, lacking graininess. The flavor was fruity, esters and citrus both detectable, not enough malt below it though, some graininess, near nil bready or similar character. A style that's hard to find well-done here in the states, this one surely didn't contend as a "real" one. Mouthfeel light and slightly watery.
