Underground Mountain Brown is the harmonious drinking experience only achieved when our imperial brown ale, earthy sumatra coffee and a year aging in caves below Grand Rapids comes together. A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. A celebration of the barrel, the bean and everything in between.

Poured out extremely dark brown with a nice foamy head. The aroma has a powerful sweet smell. The mouthfeel is pretty good. The taste is well balanced of roasted malt. With just a hint of coffee.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pours dark brown with a fine bubbled head that leaves an excellent ring of lacing until the end. Roasted malt caramel aroma stands out with hints of coffee and wood. A sweet beer that dries a hair in the finish. Strong yet smooth. A very nice beer.

Pours transparent sepia with a good buff head. Aroma features roast malt, coffee, woody and caramel notes. Flavor provides roast malt, caramel, bourbon, woody, and - chocolate? Texture yields firm, viscous body and lively fizz. Dig this mountain!
