big malty nose and flavor. not as dry as the traditional style calls for, but it is fuller bodied...a nice trade-off if you ask me. overall, the lack of hop presence made the overall impression lacking a bit, but it was an enjoyable beer.

Poured a red amber with large head. There was a malty nose and flavor. Everything was quite well balanced with no particular flavor taking over. I found this brew to pair well with simple things like crackers and cheese

I had Flying Bison Aviator Red on tap at the Grey Lodge. It poured a nice red colored body with a small head. The aroma was malty. The taste was sweet with a nice malty finish. I had low expectations and this beer slightly exceeded them. (I think that's a compliment)

My favorite beer of all time. If you have the opportunity jump on this one. Very flavorful and goes down quite smooth. This is a drink for those who enjoy quality beer.

Aviator Red pours a very attractive deep ruby color with a large head. The aroma is quite malty and matches the taste. As for the taste.....it was good, but a wee on the strong side. However, it is well worth a try.
