A chewy Imperial Stout base made up of barley, oats, and rye. Conservatively hopped and recirculated on cocoa nibs and dosed with cold brew coffee from our pals at Brown Bag in Aylmer, QC. Expect flavours of toffee and fudge with coffee and leather in the forefront. Balanced and luxurious for slow sipping. Cheers to 5 years!

Dark brown colour with ruby highlights, a big frothy warm mocha-coloured head, good stay and some lacing. Cocoa powder aromas with the roasted-chocolate malts, some dark fruits and apples. The darker fruits and apples do continue into the taste. Hints of molasses and the coffee is only felt in the lingering finish. A good bitterness kicks in the middle, but goes down quickly to show the hop grassiness. Not the most coffeeish stout, but a good dry-bitter Imperial cacao one.
