This chewy Imperial Stout was conditioned on graham cracker crumbs and Madagascar vanilla beans for a luscious dessert beer experience. Sweet but not cloying, this sipper is a great way to welcome stout season back into your glass.

500ml bottle that pours a dark brown colour with slight ruby highlights. The head is mocha-coloured, lightly fizzy, but staying for the most. Coffee and molasses for aromas. The taste shows a little more the sweetness, richness, but still has enough hops to cut the syrupy aspect. Dark fruits seem to even appear in the nose. Flavours show hints of vanilla, but mostly the roasted malts are in the background. Some decent bitterness, but all well-blended. A good Imperial stout, but the Graham crackers and vanilla are a little lost in here.

11oz glass at the brewpub. Pours a small but thick frothy tan head but eventually dissipates and leaves very little behind but a thin sticky lace. Has a deep dark brown appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of vanilla, graham crumbs, earthy notes. Wow. Flavours are quite abundant but mostly on the sweeter side. Lots of chocolate, vanilla, the graham crumb, honey, dark roasted malts. Slick and slightly oily mouthfeel. Warming sensation on the palate. Pretty yummy.
